Jennifer Herron, DVM

Dr. Herron joined the Cedar River Animal Hospital family in January 2021. Born and raised in Wyoming, she knew from a young age that she wanted to be a veterinarian. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Wyoming and went to Eastern Washington to attend veterinary school at Washington State University. After graduating with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2018, she has made her home in Western Washington. Dr. Herron’s interests include internal medicine, pain, palliative care, nutrition, soft tissue surgery, and ultrasonography.

In her free time, Dr. Herron loves spending time with her family which consists of her husband, two cats, and her gregarious little Yorkie. She enjoys traveling, hiking, and reading and is currently learning to play the guitar. She is also an avid coffee drinker and enjoys frequenting the local coffee shops.

In her time so far at Cedar River, Dr. Herron has formed great doctor-patient-client relationships and truly enjoys the lovable pets and their owners who walk through the doors of our clinic. If she hasn’t yet, Dr. Herron looks forward to meeting you and making sure you feel comfortable and heard about your pet's care!
