Mihai Aluas, DVM

Dr. Aluas grew up in Romania where his love of animals began at an early age. After graduating from veterinary school in 1998, he and his wife moved to Chicago and started a family. In 2003, he graduated North American Veterinary License program at Iowa State University. He then returned to Chicago where he practiced as an associate veterinarian for 5 years.

Dr. Aluas is passionate about veterinary medicine and has a strong background and interest in surgery, pain management, and emergency and critical care. He performs a wide variety of soft tissue procedures as well as orthopedic surgeries. He also enjoys managing internal medicine cases or educating clients about disease prevention and the daily needs of their pets’.

In 2008, Dr. Aluas visited Seattle and quickly fell in love with the Pacific Northwest which is the reason he and his family decided to make it their permanent home. Dr. Aluas, his wife, and his two children love spending time with their 10-year-old lab who thinks he is still a puppy, and taking care of their aquarium where they house a lot of fish! His hobbies include fishing, snowboarding, and traveling, but he most enjoys spending time with his family and friends!
